Concept · A small bathroom, well used
Illustrative concept: shower, niche and wall-hung storage to explore the possibilities of a compact bathroom.
Fewer pieces, more usable space
This illustrative concept explores a compact bathroom with a shower, a niche and a wall-hung unit. It is a design reference, not credited work carried out by Tramuntana.
Storing without taking up more floor
The wall-hung unit and the niche concentrate the storage. Their usefulness depends on what you store and whether you can reach it comfortably; adding furniture doesn’t always improve a small bathroom.
Visual continuity, real usable space
The clear shower screen and continuous wall finishes lighten the whole. Even so, the design must check doors, drawer openings and space between fittings. A feeling of spaciousness doesn’t replace those measurements.
What to check in your bathroom
To study a similar renovation, it helps to know the position of the current fittings, which elements must stay and whether it’s the only bathroom in the home. If you want to move the toilet or change the shower, drainage will also need reviewing.
